Our trip to D.C

Our trip to D.C. was really awesome! We saw almost all of the monuments and walked all over the place! Our feet were sore and it was cold but it was a great trip. We went to the National Museum of Natural History,National Air and Space Museum and the National Museum of American History. I bet you cant guess which was our favorite! Air and Space of course! It was a very busy weekend jam packed with stuff to do. There just wasnt enough time to really soak it all in. The city was beautiful and the monuments were amazing. Hope you all enjoy the pictures!

Thanksgiving 2008

Well, this Thanksgiving was our first one we spent all on our own. We missed family a lot over the holiday but we made it through. It was our first and last Thanksgiving with just the two of us because next year we will have our baby boy sharing in the holidays with us! We made ham instead of turkey, we figured we needed to take it one step at a time and to make a full up Thanksgiving meal was too much to handle. Ham is easier than turkey and Jeff loves ham so the decision was made! We had a very good dinner but made too much food! We need to learn how to make smaller postions of food. The day went great and it was nice to just hang out together all day at home. Jeffs schedule doesnt really allow much home time, so we really enjoyed the day!

Cheers! (Yum! sparkling cider)

My very first pies! They turned out pretty good

6 and a half months already!

25 weeks and counting! These past 6 months have really flown by. Jeffs training is going great and we find out where we will be moving to soon. I cant wait!!!! The baby is growing fast and moving around a lot!! He is constantly kicking me in the guts but it is a really awesome feeling. It always brings a smile to face! Jeff is able to feel him move a lot also and he thinks its the coolest thing when he sees my tummy move. We are enjoying the experience and are excited for the end result! Enjoy the pics, we will try to post more soon.

I think Im 25 weeks and 5 days to be exact!

And the baby is a ......

Me at 19 weeks

Baby Searcy is a little boy!!!! He is so cute already! We are so excited and cant wait to hold our little man! Jeff and I were speechless when we got the news! Words can not describe the excitement and emotion you feel. Everything looks good and is in the right place. The baby is growing and is healthy. We are so blessed!

The move to North Carolina

Surprise!!!!!
The new digs in NC

Our stop in Florida, the water was so beautiful!

The move to North Carolina was a good one. It was a long drive that we couldnt have made with out the help of mom and dad searcy. Thanks for the help!! We took the south route and went through New Orleans and stayed a couple nights in Florida. It was kind of like a vacation! :) Taloolah and Mo did great on the move and adjusted well to the new digs. We are now at Seymour Johnson AFB were Jeff will do more training. We are both really excited. NC is ok, there are lots of tall trees and the people are nice but we are looking forward to our next move. Along with all of the things going on with the move we discovered that we are expecting our first baby! This was a huge shock to both of us as it was not planned! We couldnt be more excited and cant wait to hold our little one in our arms!

Time in Texas

Our time in Wichita Falls was a great 2 years with ups and downs. We made lots of great friends and made the most of the little city. Jeff graduated from pilot training at the top of his class and graduated IFF as a distinguished grad and he also got the "Top Gun" award. It was an exciting time!
