I know these are a little over due but better late than never! I took these back in the end of October. Landon was a trooper! He is an easy baby to take pictures of! He is just so cute, I could take them all day if he would let me but after a while enough is enough! I hope all our friends and family enjoy the pictures as much as we do! I wish you all could see him in action, he is growing and changing so fast!
Landon trying to eat the props!
Is'nt that the sweetest face you've ever seen!
Thats Tootie spit in his hair!
Higher Daddy!
Thanks for the cool jimmy-jams Tia-Teia!!
Our little man is so strong! He is growing so much!
Since living here in England Jeff and I have had many talks about where we want to take trips to. Of course there are the standard Paris,Germany, and Italy. But not to be forgotten are the little places that are great little weekend trips. Well thats what Bruge was. It was a very easy ferry ride to France and then a short drive to Belgium. We went back in the end of September but are just now posting the pictures.Sorry for the long delay.
We had a WONDERFUL time! We stayed at a beautiful 5 star hotel in the middle of town.Jeff and I were in need of a mini-vacation. He is always working so hard all week long and we dont get to spend much time together , so it was nice to reconnect as a family. On our last day in Bruge Jeff surprised me with a one hour full body massage at the hotels spa. He said I needed a break from Landon since I am with him 24/7 and this was his way of saying thank you.Jeff stayed in the room, packed up all our stuff and put Landon down for his nap. It was the best surprise! I really do have an amazing husband. The massage was wonderful and very much needed.Bruge was a neat little city to visit. You cant go wrong visiting a place that specializes in waffles, chocolate and beer. Its a win win win situation! :) The food was delicious and the beer was the best we've had yet. We walked around and saw so much, it was such a pretty city. The locals were very nice and we want to go back again soon. Landon was a great little travel buddy! He struggled falling asleep while we were out and about, he likes to sleep in his crib, but we managed as best we could.
Here are just a few of pictures from our trip. I hope you enjoy.
Just a little peek into one of many chocolate shops in Bruge.
This was taken in one of the 2 big squares in Bruge. This is the front of our hotel we stayed at. It was a very beautiful building. Jeff is getting really good with his photography skills! He is very creative! The moon picture is one of my favorites!
Happy Birthday Grandma! We just wanted to wish you a very happy birthday from England! Sorry we arent there to celebrate today but we hope you have a very special and great day! We love and miss you! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
So I thought I would try to upload a video on our blog just to see if it worked and...it did!!! This is a video of Landon when he was around 4 months. Cant wait to post more videos of him for the fam!
Back in September we had our Spouse appreciation day. It was pretty cool the way they had organized everything for us. All the wives ad our names in a lottery and were randomly chosen for 4 activities to do that day. The options were: F-15 taxi ride, A KC1-35 ride, helicopter ride and a Sim. Well I was one of the very lucky 15 wives who was picked for a taxi ride! It was really awesome to get ready with Jeff and put on his gear and actually get to strap in the jet and taxi. We went full Max AB and got the front wheel off the ground. It was really cool but definitely left me wanting more! What a tease! Maybe one day I will get to take off and do a pattern... ha ha yeah right, I can only dream. :) It was a great day but kind of chilly. The wind was blowing strong that day so I was layered under Jeffs flight suit. We were able to leave Landon with some of the other wives while it was my turn to taxi. So don't worry, we didn't expose his delicate ears to the roaring engines of the mighty Strike Eagle. :)
Congratulations to Jeffs brother Michael and his wife Anita! They will be expecting their first baby around April 2010!! Its about time! Congrats again to you both!Cant wait to see that baby bump!
So I know I havent been the best at keeping up with the blog, it has been a while since we updated everyone on our little doodle bug Landon. So I thought it was about that time to let everyone know how he is doing! We cant believe our little man is already 7 months old! He is growing and changing so much! He does new things all the time and he is just amazing! At his 6 month check up he was 17.5 lbs and 27.7 inches long! He is in the 75% for is height and 30% for his weight. The doc said everything looked great and he is right on for all his major mile stones! He is sitting up by himself and only tips over when he gets too excited. He has 2 teeth on the bottom and we think more on the way! He is working on crawling but has yet to put the hand motion and the leg motion together. We have a feeling it wont be too long before we are chasing him around the house! Time to baby proof! He is eating 3 solid food meals a day along with nursing. I took an intrest in making his baby food myself and it turns out that I really enjoy it! It is nice to know exactly what he is eating. I never thought I would be the mom to make by babys food but it is really not that difficult and I usually pick one day a week while Landon is napping and I make a little over 1 weeks worth of food. So far Landons only major dislike is grrenbeans. They literally make him gag. Its rediculous! Here is a brief list of all the foods he is eating: Butternut Squash,Applesauce,Sweet potatoe, Sweet peas,Carrots,Pears,Mango,Bananas,Greenbeans, Soybeans,Spinich, and Swede(its an english turnip). So far the butternut squash is his favorite! He is a very good eater most of the time. Well I guess thats a goodenough update for now. We will try to update more often! Cheers for now!
Landon loves is bouncer so much, he wants to sleep in it too!
Potty time!!!
His very first tooth, if you look hard enough you can see the top.
Here are the rest of the pictures from my Mom aka Grandma Litas trip. The first few are from our outing to Cambridge. The day we went was the most beautiful day! The sun was out and there were no rain clouds in sight which is odd for England. :) The last few pictures are more from our trip to London. Hope you enjoy!
