November 12, 2011 Sydney turns ONE!!!

One year ago, God blessed us with the sweetest angel, Sydney Reese. How time has flown by! We have loved having the chaos that two kids bring into a home and we wouldn't change it for the world. Over the last year we have discovered that Sydney is very sassy, knows what she wants and will do anything to get it. She has a scream that can make your bones tremble and a laugh that will melt your heart. She loves to eat and has always been a great sleeper. For all these things we are so thankful for and blessed in every way. We love you so much Sydney! (Squid) Happy Birthday ONE-derful Girl!!

Jimmys Farm in Ipswich

On Saturday Aug 12, we spent the afternoon at Jimmys Farm in Ipswich. It is a working farm that has a ton of animals for kids to pet and look at. We saw very large, feathery chickens(Landon chased them), tons of goats,alpacas, pigs and piglets, ferrets,guinea pigs,horses and cows. Landon had a great time, he wore is wellies and tested them out in a few muddy puddles! We plan on going back and checking out the store on the grounds that sells all kinds of meats,sausages, produce, breads and baked goods. Its a great little place!

It is a rare day indeed, that the sun is out AND its warm enough to put your kids in a pool OUTSIDE in England! So rare I had to take pictures to prove it! :)

Potty training!

Potty training is going GREAT!!! I didnt think Landon would pick it up fast but he is a smart boy! We dont call him Landon Eugenius for nothing!

Our Summer trip back to Texas

This summer Jeff and I had decided it was time to make a family trip back to Texas. This trip was crazy to say the least! A 10 hour plane ride with a 7 month old teething baby girl and a 2 year old who wants nothing more than to play and run! It was a difficult task keeping them both entertained but somehow we managed. The Wednesday before we left Jeff had his check ride for his FLUG upgrade and had to tie up some loose ends in the mobility shop so he got home at 2 am and I was up waiting for him! We had to be up at 3 am to get out the door by 4am and catch our bus to London-Heathrow! Needless to say we were both running on fumes!

Although it was a crazy flight across the pond back to the states it was well worth the trouble. We had a great time! Our families were finally able to meet Sydney. It only took 7 months!!! We had fun in the hot Texas sun and cant wait to get back home. These are just a few of our pictures,and a few things we did while back home. There will be more coming! Enjoy, we did!

We went to the 4th of July parade in Schertz with my brother Nick and his family. It was Landons first parade and about 100 degrees outside! The kids had a good time despite the hot weather. We loved spending the 4th of July with our family and in AMERICA this year, NOT in England! We had a great time!
